right now, my 9-to-5 is being a data analyst. I spend my days translating messy data into actual insights. It’s the "evidence" that keeps my educational work grounded.

I've been building things in edtech for a while:

• back when I was 16, I started Ascendio. I led computer science workshops for kids where we ditched the boring lectures and just built cool, hands-on stuff to prove that tech isn't scary.

•   in 2024, I helped design a 6-month mentorship program to help women launch tech ventures using no-code. found out 80% were driven by social impact, so we built the whole pathway around that.

• recently, I've been deep in a research rabbit hole on learning experience design. exploring how we can tune psychology and environment to help people learn better at any stage of life.

other things I’ve worked on:

Educational Crisis Response: In the aftermath of COVID-19, I worked with the Haqooq-e-Khalq Movement and the Center for Continued Education at LUMS. We supported struggling inner-city schools in Lahore, Pakistan, connecting them with vital mentoring to combat dropping enrollment rates.

​Advocacy & Toolkit Development: I developed educational content and toolkits for educators regarding domestic violence. This included providing direct support to survivors and training teachers to identify abuse and facilitate safer learning environments.

​Editorial Strategy: I have planned, coordinated, and revised material for book publications. My role involved reviewing story ideas, suggesting titles, and refining content to ensure it resonated with readers.

when I’m not working:

I’m probably boxing, wandering around in the mountains, or taking a really long walk. I love deep conversations, music, reading, experimenting with food, and rainy winter days. love being around my wee family and cats.
